Accommodation at Au Château

This charming "Maison de Maitre" is situated within walking distance of the village centre and dates back to 1800. Set in enclosed grounds, it is a fine example of French architectural style from the Napoleonic period and is carefully restored by its present owners. The house retains nearly all original features, including the stunning grand hallway, dining room, staircase, wood panelling and marble fireplaces.

Terrace & Gardens

The large grounds are planted with Olive, Palm and numerous fruit trees which guests always enjoy tasting at breakfast - as well as a selection of delicious home made jams.

Relaxed summer evenings can be enjoyed amongst the extensive  herb garden on the secluded terrace which leads to a swimming pool - surrounded with Bay trees and flowering Oleander hedge. 

Guests may enjoy an average pool temperature of 24°C between April and October.

Breakfast Room

On the ground floor of the main house, breakfast is served from 8h00 - 10h00 every morning in the spacious former preparation kitchen. Painted in sunflower yellow and decorated in French country style, the Breakfast room benefits from a kitchenette with toaster, fridge, electric two-ring-hob and microwave. This is also available to our guests to prepare meals, picnics and snacks on the adjoining terrace or at recommended picnic sites.

For guests who have to travel before 8h00, a breakfast basket can be provided by special request to your bedroom or suite.

Bedrooms & Suites

All our bedrooms and suites have beautifully equipped en-suite shower rooms, central heating, international satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Additional beds are available on request.

For the comfort of all our guests, the house and all bedrooms are non-smoking areas. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge.
